Exciting Collaborative Drama Workshops starting up again soon! In these classes the kids create their own characters and have voice in what happens on stage – they work together to create dynamic physical performances which they are proud and excited to be a part of.
Mondays 4 to 5pm – STUFF – 8 week workshop series for 4 to 6 year olds. This is an introduction to drama where the children learn to act out various poems and engage in creative movement, leading to an informal recital early June (date to be confirmed). Cost $175
Tuesdays 4 to 5:30pm- AND NONSENSE – 8 week workshop series for 7 to 10 year olds where they tell stories, read poems and create amazing sketches and movement pieces using improv and character development. Leading to an informal recital early June (date to be confirmed). Cost $200
Wednesdays 3:30 to 4:30pm – ‘IMPROV’ – 8 weeks of hilarity for 6 to 10 year olds with optional spontaneous performance opportunities in June. Cost $18 per class or $120 for the series.
“NEW”!!! For 11 to 14 year olds – MONOLOGUES AND MORE – an 8 week series of workshops to include improv, acting and character work leading to short scene performances in early June. Wednesdays 5 to 6:30pm. Cost $200.

Classes take place at The Electric Lodge, solar powered theater, 1416 Electric Avenue, Venice CA 90291, where there is an onsite parking lot.
